We want to thank everyone that has tried the beta version of GoldMail. Your feedback is invaluable and very much appreciated by the GoldMail development team.

Today we are pleased to announce the final preview version of GoldMail Beta, providing the ability to record your voice slide by slide.

Since this is the #1 product enhancement based on our user community feedback, we want to make sure we do it right. We intend to make this release of GoldMail generally available in the next few weeks, but first we would be delighted to hear any final thoughts you may have (praise, criticism, or just drop us a note and say “hello”).

The GoldMail team are pleased to announce the release of a new version of GoldMail (2009 08). It’s simplest to show you around with a quick GoldMail, so click on this link or the image below and take a look.

This release introduces…

  • A Welcome Screen: which provides access to tutorials and guides, and incorporates a live feed of the latest product developments from our blog, so you can see what’s new at a glance.
  • Clearer “View Notes” Button: we’ve added some text to make sure you don’t miss our slide notes feature (thanks for the feedback).
  • Links to our uservoice Feedback Forum: where you can share, discuss and vote on your favorite product ideas.
  • Recommend GoldMail Link: so you can share the Free GoldMail Trial with your friends and associates.
  • GoldMail Community Widgets: keep in touch with us right from within GoldMail. The widgets include our Facebook Fan Page,  Blog,  Feedback Forum, Twitter Feed, GoldMail Learning Zone, and the new GoldMail Gallery.

GoldMails on Facebook – Now with Thumbnails.

Being the leading social networking site, Facebook has long since surpassed its tag of “just for college students”. As this article explains, with tools like Facebook Pages and Groups you can gain new clients, stay in touch with current clients, and promote new products and sales offers. Whether you use GoldMail for Sales, Marketing, or Training, we’re always looking at how any feature enhancements we make can help save you time and money. In the last few months we’ve had our heads down working on some great new features for you, here’s a 2 minute update on what’s new…

  • Slide Notes: now you can record GoldMail messages while reading from or referring to slide notes. This simple feature allows you to record quickly and confidently, reducing pauses or stumbles, and enhance your message flow. It is also a huge time saver, you can really personalise those sales or marketing messages, and then record them quickly and easily time and time again.
  •  Post to Twitter: social media marketing is not only a great way to build brand recognition for your business, but also an opportunity to show off a more personal side to your communications. Together with the ability to share GoldMails quickly on Facebook, we’ve now added a Post to Twitter link to really help kickstart your marketing efforts. What better way to use that 140 character limit than sending a GoldMail. If you’ve not come across Twitter before then this quick start guide should help.   
  • Player Branding: GoldMail is all about your brand, so now you can configure and tweak your branding directly from within GoldMail, in just seconds.
  • Send a picture link: in case you missed it in the last release, see below, emailing your picture linked to your GoldMail is a great way to reassure recipients and increase clickthrough rates.

and remember, you don’t have to do anything new to access all these features, just look out for an automatic update next time you login to GoldMail.

Get more people to view your GoldMail messages with Photo Buttons, Facebook and more!

Make sure you launch GoldMail today and log in to get our latest version release (2009 04) with new features to help increase the number of views you get of your GoldMail messages.

Get more people to play your messages with a Photo Button.

Most of us using email today are understandably cautious when it comes to opening emails and clicking on links in messages unless we’re sure we know the sender. What better way to reassure your recipient that the message is truly from you and it’s OK to play it than to have your photo greet them when they open the email! They recognize you, are reassured and click to play your GoldMail message.

Thanks to everyone who requested this. We are excited to add PhotoPlay buttons as a “beta” feature. To give it a try look for this button when you next share via e-mail.

Send Picture Links

Sending GoldMail messages linked to your picture couldn’t be easier:

  1. Choose the “send link with a picture” option from “Share”
  2. Upload your picture, it will be linked to your message and sent to your e-mail
  3. Use your own e-mail programme to forward the picture link on.

Post GoldMail messages on Facebook.

Of course e-mail isn’t the only way to share GoldMail messages. As this article explains, Facebook is at the forefront of the rise in social networking, not only on a personal level, but also in business. So, if you are involved in business networking on facebook, we’ve  made it really easy to share your GoldMail messages with your contacts.

Simply create a GoldMail message then go to “post to a webpage” and look for the facebookf Share on Facebook link.

Other enhancements in this release include:

  • The “My GoldMail” button has been updated, so new GoldMail users know they can click it to get to their list of saved GoldMail messages.
  • For customers with more than one GoldMail account – a new checkbox setting in GoldMail>Settings>UserSettings to switch autologin On and Off (set to OFF if you want to log into different GoldMail accounts)

(Tip – don’t forget, you can always use a larger font size when you create a message).
